Dr. Byrne is a Consultant Paediatric Allergist in Children’s Health Ireland at Crumlin and Tallaght Hospitals with a wealth of experience from the US, the UK and Ireland. She established the paediatric allergy service in Crumlin. The talk highlights the importance of knowing that hives are indeed hives in children, the causes of angioedema, appropriate investigations and when to consider auto inflammatory conditions. Dr. Byrne shares various case studies and ends with a discussion on patient management.
