Prof Conlon is a Consultant Clinical Immunologist in St. James’s Hospital and Director of the Diagnostic Immunology Lab in St. James’s. He set up the first dedicated adult Urticaria clinic in Ireland in St. James’s and the hospital was awarded the Ucare accreditation in 2022, meaning St. James’s Hospital is a Centre of Excellence for Urticaria. The talk focuses on a case study to highlight the patient journey through their service and also discusses allergy diagnostics, patient management and ends with an overview of Ucare accreditation and the future direction this will take.
